Rock Farm Slane is an organic farm, glamping, ecotourism and activity centre on the Slane Castle estate stretching for 1.5km along the banks of the River Boyne. It is owned by Alex and Carina Conyngham.

Rock Farm is certified by The Organic Trust under the trading name Conynghams (cert no. 1109) and are proud to include beef, pork, egg-laying poultry, turkeys and horticulture under our organic licence.

Alex and Carina started farming in 2010 when they took on a lonely old farm known locally as the Rock, on the other side of the river from Slane Castle. They immediately threw themselves into organic farming and have depended on the help and advice from good friends, neighbours (including the members of The Slane Food Circle) and other organic farmers from around the country and further afield; as well as the goodwill and enthusiasm of interns and volunteers.

Our weekly Farm Shop opens every Thursday from 11am - 2pm offering organic meat, vegetables and seasonal produce from Rock Farm. Order online by midnight on Tuesdays for collection on Thursdays. Additional markets will be run on selected dates (i.e. Christmas), see social media or rockfarmslane.ie for details. 

You can also enjoy a weekly guided Farm Tour at 11am on Thursdays followed by a tasting in the Farm Shop. Booking is essential, call the office on 041 988 4861. Private tours can also be arranged, for a minimum of six people.
